What is the best Graphics Card/Motherboard/Gaming System?

I am looking for a completely customized computer made for gaming. Price is no bother, I want the best of the best, the master gaming computer.

If you don’t have any suggestions or links, information on what to get (graphics card and motherboard etc) is also welcomed in answering.

Fire away!

- Motherboard suitable to fit a Quad core processor (future proof)
- At least 2 hard drives, setup in raid 0 (mirror = fast )
- 2 vga cards (2 x 8800GTX ULTRA) <- if money is no object ;-)
- 3 Gig DDR(2/3) (4 ok, but XP can’t allocate more, or you have to pick some 64bit software, then, more is better..
- Powerfull 800W+ power supply
- A nice 20+ inch monitor

Are those ipod/ibook/random electronic gadget giveaways worth it?

You know the ones, like gadget city or ones that pop up on your email and what not, where you have to sign up with 2 or 3 offers, like columbia house, credit cards or netflix or whatnot…

are they worth it?
anyone sucessfully get stuff thru them without an ENDLESS amount of hassle? i mean, i’m willing to jump thru a few hoops if it means i get a G5 (or even G4) Ibook, you know?

It depends if you feel the "requirements" are worth it for you, as well as the ENORMOUS amount of Junk Mail you will get as you will then be entered into copious lists. I would recommend opening an email address specifically for such things so your regular email isn’t inundated with garbage.

I found with the few times that I was going to do it it seemed like I was going to spend more than the product and would have wound up doing things that I wouldn’t normally do or sign up for…

But good luck

Which gaming system is the best for racing games?

I’m not sure with all this hype over systems which one has alot of racing?

I think PS3 because of the graphics being the best.

Im not bias either cause I don’t even own a PS3 and actually have an Xbox 360 and Wii.

I’ve tried all three systems’ racing titles and PS3 is definetly the one to go for. PS3 doesn’t have THAT many good racers yet but that’s going to change with Grand Turismo 5.

(It has so far: Need for Speed Prostreet, Ridge Racer ect.)

Good luck!
