If you are the type of person who has to have custom everything, then there is no doubt that you will want to download at least a couple of custom ringtones for your cell phone. However, those who are into customization usually do not want to go half way with their money, meaning that the items that they customize must start off being the best top of the line products in the first place.
They purchase expensive cars and then modify them with cutting edge electronics and various external accessories such as fancy rims or after market exhaust systems. They may purchase a high end watch and then add various precious stones and even more expensive watch bands to it to practically double its value. And when it comes to home electronics, they will settle for nothing less than their own built in home theater system complete with hide-away screen and high definition projector.
While all of these items may seem absurdly overpriced to the layperson, they are just par for the course when it comes to someone who has to have the best of everything. However, even the most critical connoisseur of high end electronics will quickly realize that when it comes to cell phones and ringtones, you do not have to spend a fortune to get your own highly customized product.
The hunt for the perfect cell phone for ringtones begins at your local wireless providers store. They will have a massive selection of different phones for you to choose from, but even if you do not have the want or the need for the best phone on the market, under no circumstances should you be tempted to get the free phone if you want to enjoy the best ringtones out there. Instead, look towards phones in the fifty to one hundred dollar range.
These phones will have a variety of great goodies such as cameras and external screens and all other kinds of cool gizmos, but what they will also have that you really need if you want to make the most out of your ringtones is a blazing fast download speed. You see, most new phones out there take advantage of extremely fast downloads thanks to new wireless technology. Not all phones can download the same speed, mind you, so be on the lookout for phones from Cingular for example that say things to denote that they are the fastest in their class.
While the downloading speed of your phone is a major player in the race to get the best ringtones out there, you will also want to make sure that your phone has mp3 player capabilities built into it. Phones with mp3 players will be able to play mp3 ringtones which will give you the absolute best in ringtone quality for your buck.

Does your cat respond to cell phone ringtones?
Any time I played the instrumental ringtones on my cell phone, my cat loves it. She comes over to wherever I am, insists on sitting on my lap and purrs like there's no tomorrow…as long as it's playing. When it stops, she gets up and leaves. Now anytime I want her to sit on my lap, I just play the ringtones. She does it with any kind of cell phone. It's about the cutest thing in the world.
I've asked around, but no one I know has seen anything like it. Does your cat do anything like this?

There are times when I'll call her name and she won't come to me, as soon as I start playing with my ringtones, she comes running out! She has this look on her face as if to say, 'OOhh, what's that??' It's cute

LOL I thought it was only my cat…well, she responds to the alarm clock tone on the cell phone, because for the first month or so we had her, I had to get up for work early so we'd set the alarm on the phone. She soon learned that the sound of the alarm meant she'd get lots of love and attention if she came running in - so no matter where we are now, she'll come running to it to be petted lol.

YES! When my cell phone rings she runs and jumps into my lap and starts meowing like crazy. She wants to join in on the conversation. I can't have the speaker on because she is always sticking her face into the phone saying "Who is this? Why can't I see you?" But then again I have a strange cat. When ever I have a visitor over she will hide behind the chair and hiss and bare her teeth if it's someone she doesn't like ,but if it's someone she does like she will be all over them. After the company leaves that she hates she will walk around the house looking around corners making sure they are gone before she cusses me out for having them in her house.

Sadly, my favorite song is on a ringtone- but before that I was just singing it to him. Now, the poor little guy responds to my terrible singing, not the beautiful singing of Trio los Panchos.
My older cat knows better, she responds to the ringtone.
